WELCOME August Slipped Away! As Taylor Swift sings, "August slipped away into a moment in time." It was a momentous month for us—our oldest started college at WSU, and we moved our youngest to the basement en suite bedroom while converting the kids' rooms into offices. Our home feels so different now! As summer ends, the real estate market starts to pick up. With back-to-school season upon us, families are eager to find their dream homes and settle in before the school year gets underway. Sellers are also busy making their properties attractive to potential buyers. In Seattle, late summer is a great time for buyers to find homes with less competition. With lower interest rates, it's also a good time for sellers to consider putting their homes on the market to meet their moving goals.
